Rise Up is a brand I created in the summer of 2017 as a small project. I have since been developing it into something that combines my hand-drawn style with high quality clothing.
The new tee (For the Mountains) has been influenced heavily by my trips to different mountain ranges. I have always had a deep connection with mountains, as their size and power leave me in awe of what nature is capable of. When up higher than the clouds you get a sense of calm and peace that is hard to find anywhere else. I was hoping to catch that feeling with the illustration on the new tees. This is a strictly limited edition print of 50.
50p per tee will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for their work in protecting mountain habitats: https://www.worldwildlife.org/habitats/mountains - When all the tees have been sold I will make one donation on behalf of all of us and let you know through this website. UPDATE - We have sold out most of our tees, enabling us to make the donation on behalf of all of you! Scroll down to see. Thank you so much from us and from the WWF.
The tees are ethically made using 100% organic cotton and manufactured solely using sustainable energy generated from wind and solar power in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard.
Organic Cotton + Ethically Traded + Carbon Neutral manufacturing = 100% sustainable.
Each shirt is screen printed in Cornwall (UK). There are no plastisol (plastic) inks used in our tees. We only use water-based inks, which are very soft to the touch and environmentally friendly. The prints will last as long as the tees themselves.
The tees are packaged in a recyclable polybag and delivered to you inside a compostable mailing bag.
